Life is not all about intense work, life requires a colorful rhythm. In November 2023, Huaxing East Co. organized 2 groups of team building trips to Xitang, Wuzhen and Suzhou. There is always a wonderful place to wander. Perhaps it’s the graceful and hazy night cruise on the water, the fragrant leisure tea art; or it’s the passionate bar revelry, or the spa regimen that refuels health; if it happens to coincide with the colorful festivals in the ancient town, it will make people even more intoxicated with Jiangnan’s unique charm, which has a long history, surpassing many ages full of history and culture.
Xitang has a flat terrain and dense rivers. There are 9 rivers that intersect in the town, dividing the town into 8 sections. 24 stone bridges connect the five areas of the ancient town. Most of these ancient bridges are single-hole stone pillar and wooden beam bridges. , well protected to this day. House lanes are another major feature of Xitang. They are divided into street lanes that connect two parallel streets, water lanes that connect to the street in front and the river in the back, and companion lanes located on the side of the hall in the mansion. There are 122 lanes and lanes criss-crossing. It constructs the overall framework of the ancient town and connects the new and old towns.
Wuzhen is located at the northern end of Tongxiang City, on the west side of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, bordering Huzhou City on the west and Wujiang County, Jiangsu Province on the north. It is the junction of two provinces and three cities. As one of the first batch of famous historical and cultural towns in China, one of China’s top ten charming towns, a town with a beautiful environment across the country, and a national 5A-level scenic spot, Wuzhen is known as “China’s last waterside home.” Wuzhen has more than 7,000 years of civilization history and 1,300 years of town building history. According to research at the Tanjiawan ancient cultural site on the outskirts of Wuzhen, Wuzhen's ancestors thrived in this area about 7,000 years ago. Wuzhen's ancient names are Wudun and Wushu. Relevant records can be found from geography, history, and literature. In 1950, Wuzhen and Qingzhen were merged and called Wuzhen to this day.
